Open Access: Options
1. Open Access- You wish to select the Open Access option for payment.
2. Waiver- If you have a contract or other obligation with any institution or university which requires Open Access for your scientific publications, you must agree to either: (a) pay the Open Access fee noted above; or (b) obtain a formal waiver from your university/institution from its Open Access policy.
Terms defined:
Open Access: full text of formally published article is freely available on our website and that of the grantor, institution, or university. This requires a one-time fee of $1,950.00.
Public Access: full text of author’s last version of the article (without the editing done by the journal editors) is placed on the website of the grantor, institution, or university. This choice requires only the usual author (page) fees. This satisfies NIH and other U.S. Government requirements.
